Certainly, the most important step in your aviation career is to obtain your PPL(H), which is a helicopter private pilot licence. This is the first licence you will ever obtain. During the training for your PPL(H), you build piloting habits and the foundations of your aviation knowledge. The theoretical course covers helicopter construction, meteorology or navigation. Practical training, on the other hand, consists of a minimum of 45 hours. The entire course ends with an examination organised by the Civil Aviation Authority. As far as the price of a PPL(H) is concerned, it is approximately PLN 100,000. This is not a small cost, but there is the possibility of paying in instalments and obtaining various grants or loans. For example, “Project Open” or “Invest in Development” allow you to obtain a loan of up to PLN 100,000 for training and up to 25% of the total amount can be written off. Obtaining a pilot’s licence is certainly quite a challenge, requiring a lot of patience, commitment and self-discipline. However, if you dream of flying, it will certainly be a very good investment in the future, giving you great satisfaction and opportunities.
